Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment

Hey everyone! Today’s review is for the product, “Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment,“. This product was recommended to me by a friend, and she so graciously gave me my own tub for my birthday! Since I got it, I’ve used it just about every day with my ‘everyday makeup’ look. I use my moisturizer, and put the Tiger Grass cream over it. It works wonders!

What is it?

First of all, Dr. Jart+ is a South Korean skincare brand that is sold globally across 36 markets and in thousands of stores. Their motto, “Powered by science. Inspired by art.” can be clearly seen through their product packaging and effectiveness. The great thing is that you can find the products in your local Sephora! The product, Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment, is a greenish-beige cream that is used to neutralize redness and it also protects from environmental aggressors. It also protects your skin, moisturizes, and revives fatigued skin. When applied to the skin, it evens skin tone, and provides a healthy glow without being over-dewy. This product is good for oily, combination, and dry skin.

What do I think?

Overall, I like this product a lot! I’d give it a 8.5/10. A little goes a long way, which is reassuring to my wallet. Price-wise, it is a bit on the more expensive end ($$). But I think that what you’re paying for in product, it’s worth the results. A 0.5 fl oz tub (the size I have) is $18, and the 1.7 fl oz tub is $52. But like I said before, a little goes a long way – so I think the size I have will last me a long time. If you are new to color correcting, I think this product is great for starters. I am new to color correcting, and this light and easy-to-use cream is a great introduction to “color correcting skincare”. This product is especially good with my acne scars. The scars don’t totally disappear, but with the Tiger Grass I can see that the color dulls enough for my light concealer to do the rest of the work. I also like how this product is SPF 30. Living in Hawaii, I understand how important it is to wear sunscreen or SPF products every day to protect my skin from the effects of the sun.

I use this product after I apply moisturizer, and before I put on my concealer. The consistency is a bit thick, but it blends in well. I immediately can see my skin tone evened out, and my redness is more subtle. Before I used this product, my everyday makeup would get oily by the end of the day, and I looked like an oily mess. But with the addition of the Tiger Grass cream, that doesn’t happen to me anymore! I like that it gives my skin the right amount of matte, but still has a healthy glow to it. Overall, I suggest this product to everyone looking to reduce redness in their skin, people looking for a good SPF coverage, and those looking for skincare conscious makeup products.
