Hi Friends! I’m here with another short recommendation to head on over to Prince Waikiki hotel for their pop-up Christmas bar. It’s not your typical Christmas bar with ornaments and decorations like Christmas exploded on the walls, the outdoor bar had modern decoration and followed a theme of “Waikiki Christmas”. There were some local greenery like monstera leaves and ti leaves along with Christmas trees and aloha print stockings. The cups had Santas surfing with red and green details, paper umbrellas for the drinks, and the other dishware were ceramic pieces specifically made for this pop-up bar theme.
We tried the White Russian Christmas, and Kris Kringle Colada. I thought the colada was delicious but towards the end it was a little too tart for my liking. I’m assuming it was the lime juice. The White Russian was delicious. I’ve never had a White Russian before, but this exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed the creaminess and coffee taste that this drink had. Also, beware, these drinks are STRONG! After two drinks I was really feeling it. But, these drinks are so well crafted that the mix of alcohol doesn’t taste like strong alcohol.
The Sippin’ Santa holiday bar also has an array of wines, beers, well drinks, and some non-alcoholic choices. If you’re hungry, there are also small bites and snacks that you can order. We tried the Almond Joy beer blend which was a local coconut porter mixed with a local stout. I personally really enjoyed that mixture and wish I ordered that as well.
The cute and exclusive Sippin’ Santa cups are also available for sale. Honestly it is very steep for my budget, but a cute souvenir for tourists to bring back home. Overall, our experience at the Sippin’ Santa holiday pop-up bar was great. The servers were attentive and the drinks came out quickly and delicious. What more could we ask for? If you’re looking for a cute holiday bar to try, you should head over to Waikiki at the Prince Hotel to try Beachbum Berry’s Sippin’ Santa Holiday Bar. Until next time…
